Citizens of Peace

On Becoming A Citizen of Peace. The learning of how not to become offended. For where there is no offence, there is no crime, no sin no wars. Haggai 2:2-9, "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? And how do ye see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
Well, that just about sums it up, my prayer for world peace and the belief we can live together and prosperously. Let the revival begin! This is not a religious book however it is filled with Spirit. My book is working when you will want to throw my words away and not continue reading any further. However I implore you to consider the very point of contention, this will be your area of contention, a stone within your own hardened heart and you will come to understand, you yourself are wanting something for nothing and I am merely reminding you, you can't get something for nothing! It's a law of the universe. It's our choice, violence or peace? For what you believe determines how you behave. Our behaviour is determined by what we believe. I've come to believe the scriptures are a guide to peaceful living relationships and how to handle those who are violent toward us and others, so as to be enabled to remain peaceful in all situations. Content. It you take away the human need to be right, you also take away the human need to fight. The concept of better and best achieves this.

It's quite simple isn't? Those who follow peace, to peace and those that don't, don't. I have also come to realise, my mind is not my own and I am merely a steward of that mind, that Jesus so graciously trusts me with. For my God is Jesus. God can plant a thought in my mind anytime He wishes. Whether I like it or not it's His and He is in control, the lust of my own heart has been to deny myself that fact, and delude myself in believing I can be right, when the truth is I can only do my best. This is my version, my study of my dysfunctional behaviour, from the inside out. Let me put it this way, I found myself so far down my own track I was completely lost. This is my story of my road back. I didn't ever think I would have to build that road, however when I listen to the Holy Spirit of Promise and go His way, at least the building of that road can be enjoyed by the views, that I now can see along the way, under construction. Because now, with the Holy Spirit in me, it's like I'm driving a bulldozer, maybe it's a plough. I have become a synergist for Peace. Some might say this is nothing more than the world according to Rod, however this is not my plan; it is merely my interpretation of the plan. I'll get straight to the point and that is; has Christianity lost the answer to the problem and in fact become the problem.
